Job Description

Responsibilities include: Assist in managing housing condition claims, including opening and maintaining case files. Process legal documents, correspondence, and reports for solicitors, tenants, and contractors. Monitor case progress to ensure compliance with statutory and court deadlines. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and legal representatives to coordinate inspections, repairs, and case updates. Maintain accurate records in housing management systems and produce reports as required. Support the team in responding to legal queries and requests for information, ensuring adherence to data protection regulations. Assist in preparing court documents and disclosures in line with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Condition Claims. Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points. Provide general administrative support, including, raising purchase orders, and maintaining filing systems. What We're Looking For: Prior experience gained within a repairs and maintenance environment (for a contractor, client or both) is essential. Experience of working in Soft FM would be preferred. IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Knowledge of MRI advantageous but not essential Strong numerical and analytical skills. Customer focussed with the ability to use initiative to solve routine issues. A collaborative approach, pro-active approach with the confidence and ability to communicate with key clients and customers. High attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience or internships in a similar role are a plus
