Job Description
Part-time, 2/3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Specialist Teacher and Assessor to join our expanding individual needs department. The Individual needs department is a cornerstone of this mission, working with a range of learners to provide tailored support. Working in the senior school, you will provide tailored support to pupils with specific learning difficulties, or other individual needs, on an individual or small group basis to support literacy and study skills. The role also involves formal assessment of pupils for access arrangements. The successful candidate will possess a good honours degree along with a qualification for teaching pupils with SpLD (Level 5 or above) and a Level 7 qualification related to assessment. An empathetic and understanding approach towards students with special educational needs is a must.
