We’re looking for a dynamic Pre-Contracts Manager on behalf of our client to join their ambitious infrastructure team. You'll lead innovative bidding activities that secure major civil and rail projects, influencing the future of transport and energy across the country. Our client is the forefront of Scotland’s infrastructure development, we deliver complex, high-impact projects across rail, civil engineering, and energy. As Pre-Contracts Manager, you’ll lead the charge in our work-winning strategy—overseeing bids, leading teams, and developing winning submissions that set us apart. You’ll be responsible for: · Leading and mentoring pre-contract and bid teams · Managing PQs, tenders, and client submissions · Driving strategy and identifying new business opportunities · Embedding a culture of continuous improvement · Coordinating input from technical authors and cross-discipline teams · Streamlining processes for smarter, faster bidding What You Bring: · A successful track record in pre-construction or bid management within rail or civils (Tier 1 or 2) · Strong leadership and collaboration skills · A deep understanding of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects · Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills · Commercial insight and a drive to win Salary & benefits: · Competitive salary – negotiable based on experience · Company car or car allowance · 25 days holiday bank holidays (increasing with service) · 3 volunteer days · Health cash plan & rewards platform · Pension & Life Insurance cover · Ongoing training and clear career development
