Job Description

An established and proudly Canadian retailer with a strong presence nationwide is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Marketing and E-commerce to lead its brand and digital growth strategy. With a commitment to quality, style, and customer experience, it continues to evolve and innovate in a competitive marketplace. Reporting to the President, you will be a key senior leadership team member and drive brand marketing and digital commerce strategies to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across all channels. This strategic and hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and deeply understands omnichannel retail. This role is ideally based in Winnipeg, but they are open to a fractional leader or a hybrid/remote role. Description Develop and execute a cohesive marketing and e-commerce strategy that aligns with company goals and supports both physical retail and digital sales. Oversee brand development, campaign planning, digital advertising, and customer engagement strategies across all channels, including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and paid media. Lead the e-commerce team in driving online traffic, conversion optimization, and customer retention. Partner with Merchandising, Retail, and Operations teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless customer experience. Analyze and report on performance metrics to continuously refine marketing and e-commerce strategies. Manage the marketing budget and ensure strong ROI on all initiatives. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing and e-commerce professionals. Requirements 8 years of progressive experience in marketing and/or e-commerce, ideally within the apparel or retail sector. A proven track record of building and executing integrated marketing plans and delivering strong online sales performance. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and agency partners. Deep understanding of digital platforms, CRM, content strategy, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, etc.). Creative, data-driven, and customer-obsessed mindset. Strong communication and project management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. MBA is a plus.
