Occupational Therapist – 6 hr/week ABI Rehab Part-time | Burnaby (Hastings Sunrise) $71.50 - $78 / hour | 6 hours per week | Contractor Position OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team providing neuro-rehabilitation to clients recovering from brain injury. This position offers a flexible 6-hour weekly schedule and takes place at a facility-based program supporting 9 residents. The role is ideal for someone passionate about collaborative care, neuro-rehab, and client-centered treatment in a small residential environment. SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: Location: Transitional Care Home, Burnaby (Hastings House) Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: 6 hours per week with flexibility Rate: $71.50 - $78 per hour Type: Independent contractor Setting: Neuro-rehab with a multidisciplinary team, working directly with clients with acquired brain injury in a home-like environment RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct occupational therapy assessments for clients with acquired brain injury Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including case managers, physiotherapy, kinesiology, behavioral consultants, rehabilitation assistants. Reassess client progress and adjust care plans as needed Support clients in developing skills for increased independence and transitioning to community living Maintain clinical documentation and communicate progress with team members QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Experience working in neuro-rehabilitation or with brain injury populations preferred Wheelchair seating experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team Reliable transportation to the worksite TO APPLY: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to Brian O’Rourke, Founder and Occupational Therapist , at info@logicrehab.ca.
