Commercial Electrician

Job Description Job Description We are a small privately owned electrical contracting company in Alliance, OH. currently seeking a Commercial Electrician! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including older and newer power distribution, industrial troubleshooting, small residential projects proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on construction sites and small factories where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems Troubleshoot motor and control systems Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Adhere to all quality and safety codes Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to complete installations and repairs. Conduct tests using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Troubleshoot issues with older and newer factory production equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments. Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed. Requirements: Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or at least 5 year's experience as Journeyman electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices. Experience with logic controllers is preferred but not required. Familiarity with use of power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Ability to work effectively on construction sites under varying conditions. Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals. Applicant will need to live within 15 miles of 22501 Alden Ave. Alliance, OH. 44601 or be willing to relocate in that area before starting. Company Description We are very close-knit company and very easy-going group. We do a lot of smaller projects and maintenance projects. We usually work 40 hours per week with weekends off, overtime is as needed but, we generally don't need to work a lot of overtime. We have a nice low stress and slower speed set up compared to a lot of large contracting companies. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced individual to come and work a very manageable pace, low stress and friendly company.
