Business Analyst | IT Department | Mergers & Aquisitions | Cloud Platforms, O365, Enterprise Migrations | Greenfield IT function being established Remote first Monthly trip to Chester (expenses paid) £40k base benefitsOur client provides a combination of services (mainly software & applications) to customers in the legal, health & safety, employment law, ISO regulation and cyber security fields. They currently have a Core IT Team of 5, which will grow this year to a team of 13 so there is already a foundation team in place that you will be working with. There is a general standardisation strategy where the company's CRM, ERP and core IT systems are all being unified. In addition to this, the firm’s strategy is to grow via acquisitions so there will be no shortage of IT projects and programmes associated with the newly purchased firms’ IT infrastructure that will need to be migrated into ‘the mother ship’. So much going on here, and an exciting time to join! In this role you be reviewing business processes across our client’s newly acquired businesses and will work closely with the Systems Architect and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless technology integrations. This role involves analysing IT environments, gathering business and technical requirements, mapping processes, and supporting system migrations across Office 365, HR, finance, and cloud platforms. You’ll be the critical link between technology and business needs, ensuring a smooth transition for acquired companies into our clients core infrastructure. Key skills: Solid Business Analyst Experience Experience with Cloud projects, any of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and enterprise applications Ability to map processes, document data flows, and analyse system integrations Hands-on experience in tenant-to-tenant migrations and enterprise software integration Strong skills in workflow documentation and consolidation planning Ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language Experience in tracking integration projects and ensuring timely deliveryNice to have skills: Technology Integration experience Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or automation toolsProjects: Assess and document IT environments of acquired companies, identifying gaps and risks Analyse business and technical requirements to drive successful system integration Support migrations for Office 365, HR, finance, and other enterprise platforms Work with the Systems Architect and technical teams to design and implement integration strategies Translate business needs into technical solutions while ensuring minimal disruption Assist in post-integration support, ensuring smooth adoption and troubleshooting issuesFor success in this role, you must have a can-do attitude and be happy to get stuck in with the team. As this is a comparatively small team where skills and resources are pooled, you will be expected to ‘muck in’ on occasions with tasks and duties perhaps more junior than you would normally expect.
