About The Role We are seeking an energetic and passionate Growth Consultant to lead on building our knowledge and the awareness of our brand and work across the place and infrastructure market, with a particular focus in the energy and transport sectors. The consultant will support the team in developing and improving our growth operations. TPXimpact has begun to locate its work around clusters; instead of the traditional sectoral focus of many consulting firms which focus on central government, local government or commercial sectors, TPX wants to acknowledge the complex and multifaceted nature of the problems that our clients face. One such cluster is place and infrastructure which brings together the connected areas of the built and natural environment, infrastructure and economic development; areas which cut across central and local government, and industry, as well as subject matters such as housing, planning, environment, and energy and net zero. We are seeking a Growth Consultant to help drive client engagement, generate leads, and support our sales pipeline through market intelligence, relationship-building, and content creation. Responsibilities Market Intelligence & Lead Generation Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the built environment, transport, energy, and natural environment sectors. Work with Bid Coordinator to monitor procurement portals and industry announcements to track upcoming opportunities. Identify and qualify leads through proactive outreach, networking, and research. Client Engagement & Events Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and raise awareness of our services to generate leads. Arrange and participate in meetings with potential clients and partners. Support subject matter experts to shape client conversations and tailor propositions to specific needs. Growth marketing content Liaise with marketing team to ensure that Place and Infrastructure section of the website is constantly updated, iterated and improved in light of new content and client needs/market intelligence Conduct regular horizon scans of our target sectors (built environment, transport, energy and environment) for thought provoking content and examples of innovation - make recommendations of how to incorporate into regular communications internally and externally Sales & Proposal Support Develop high-quality presentations, capability statements, and other sales materials. Support bid and proposal development, writing case studies and approaches that align with client needs. Support senior consultants and leadership to refine value propositions and case studies through desk research. CRM & Sales Pipeline Management Maintain and update CRM data to track leads, opportunities, and business development activities. Complete accurate reporting on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline development, to provide to the Principal Partner. Support internal business development meetings with relevant insights and updates. About You Essential Skills & Experience Experience in business development, sales, or client engagement within professional services, consultancy, or the public sector. Understanding of the built environment, transport, energy, or natural environment sectors. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market intelligence. Confident networker with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with senior stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating presentations and sales collateral. Desirable Skills & Experience Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and frameworks. Experience working in a digital advisory, technology, or consultancy environment. Understanding of emerging digital trends and challenges within the public sector. Experience managing CRM systems and sales pipelines. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and subject matter experts to shape client offerings.
