If you would like to know more, please visit our website at https://www.slb.com/ Location: Aberdeen Job Summary: The Supplier Manager Intern works closely with the Supplier Manager, accompanying them to engage with suppliers and build strong relationships. The intern helps maintain supplier accounts within the SLB business system and ensures compliance with SLB Supply Chain processes. They assist in delivering high-quality, cost-effective products and services to operations. The role also involves working with SAP, from raising Purchase Orders to reconciling account statuses. The intern will work with various teams, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be mature, consistently perform tasks diligently, and possess the ability to learn quickly and independently. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist Supplier Manager to perform the following tasks: Raising Purchase Orders, checking status of order, good receipt Payment issues: able to reconcile the invoice status, understand and resolve payment issues Onboarding suppliers Updating catalogs Contract handling Submitting requests for legal sign Submitting exemption requests in Quest Communicate with suppliers Perform audits, submit the reports Essential Requirements: A basic understanding of supply chain processes Proficiency in administrative tasks are essential Good use of Microsoft products is required Experience with SAP is appreciated but not mandatory BlueFlex Scheme: We offer hybrid working with a combination of on-site & home working days to achieve the right work-life balance and allotted time for participating in volunteering and sustainability efforts.
