Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to work for a leading name in the manufacturing sector? We are working with a highly respected manufacturer based in Northampton who are investing heavily in their engineering team. Due to growth and investment in new equipment, they’re now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their site. The Maintenance Engineer Role: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs * Electrical fault finding on 3-phase systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and control panels * Mechanical work including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes * Working within a small, skilled team across a range of automated production machinery * Recording all maintenance activities using the CMMS Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship trained ideal) * Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting * Electrical skills with the ability to fault find on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) * Good mechanical knowledge – belts, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, etc. * Flexible and team-oriented with a proactive attitude to maintenance What’s in it for you? * Secure, growing manufacturer with a strong reputation in the market * Ongoing training, development, and potential for internal progression * Yearly cost of living rises as well as pay review, On-site parking, pension scheme, employee benefits.
