Graduate Teaching Assistant Central Birmingham | £80–£100 per day | September 2025 – July 2026 Are you a graduate looking to gain classroom experience before starting teacher training in 2026? A ‘Good’-rated 4-Form Entry primary school in Central Birmingham is looking for a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils in the lead-up to their SATs. This is an ideal opportunity to build your skills and confidence in a supportive school environment. About the role: Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions focused on SATs preparation Help pupils develop their literacy, numeracy, and test-taking skills Support the class teacher with planning and adapting resources Provide tailored support to help close learning gaps and build confidence What we’re looking for: A graduate with a strong interest in primary education Ideally some experience working with children (in school, tutoring or mentoring) Confident, reliable, and able to motivate and support pupils Looking to begin a PGCE or teacher training programme in 2026 About the school: This well-regarded 4-Form Entry primary school in Central Birmingham offers a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
