Job Description
IT Support Technician London Bridge Up to £26,000 Permanent Hyde is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician. Hyde is a leading provider of affordable homes, dedicated to helping people access safe and high-quality housing. As an IT Support Technician at Hyde you will be working within the Technology team to assist users with a range of IT issues, ensuring efficient, friendly, and timely technical support across the business. Responsibilities • Act as the first point of contact for walk up customers with IT-related queries, logging and resolving issues in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across platforms such as Microsoft Office, Windows 11, Salesforce and Business Systems. • Manage IT set-up for new starters and handle returns from leavers. • Support maintenance of IT equipment, including daily checks of video conference rooms. • Co-ordinate with third-party suppliers for hardware repairs and replacements and manage the courier and postal process. • Assist in managing access requests and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Skills and Experience Required • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. • Technical troubleshooting skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Windows 11, and other software and hardware related issues. • Knowledge of IT Service Management systems and Configuration Management Databases (CMDB). • Awareness of building and fixing laptops, phones, tablets, monitors, docking stations and other peripherals. • Awareness of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Intune for user access management.
