We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Community Engagement Manager to lead our online and offline presence and nurture an active, engaged community across social platforms and across our Nursery Settings to help build brand and drive an uplift in new family and recruitment enquiries. If you’re passionate about storytelling, creating meaningful connections and driving engagement that leads to commercial results, this is your chance to make a real impact. In this role, you will: Work closely with the Central Marketing Team to execute a local calendar aligned with goals, campaigns, and community interests. Manage and grow our online social channels (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc) through creative storytelling about the nurseries, childcare and the community. Actively engage with followers, respond to messages and comments, build relationships and foster a sense of community. Identify opportunities to spark conversation, spotlight community voices, and showcase user-generated content. Drive local community engagement via groups and events – e.g. Facebook groups, village newsletters, farmers' markets, fetes, and community events etc. Enhance reputation and word of mouth via stories, testimonials and reviews from existing families. Create partnerships with other trusted local brands and influencers (local cafes, children’s shops, soft plays, libraries, schools, family photographers etc.) Generate positive PR coverage through local and regional media, both online and offline. Optimise open day/recruitment events - ensuring they are promoted well, welcoming, and truly community-focused. Stay on top of social media/marketing trends, tools, and platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness of all activities. Monitor analytics to track content performance, audience sentiment and ROI against goals, adapting strategy accordingly. What we're looking for: Proven experience managing social media for a brand, organisation, or online community. Experience building and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships. Ability to think strategically and connect activities (online and offline) for improved performance. Excellent writing, content creation, and visual storytelling skills. Confident using social media/marketing/design tools like Canva, Buffer/Later/Hootsuite, and platform analytics. A strong understanding of different social platforms and how to tailor content for each. Highly organised, proactive, and community-minded with a natural instinct for engagement.
