What Does a Cover Supervisor Do? Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the absence of a teacher Supervise and support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 Maintain classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment Assist students with their learning and answer general questions Work across a range of subjects-no two days are the same! What Are We Looking For? We're seeking Cover Supervisors in Burnley who have strong classroom presence, excellent behaviour management skills, and the ability to contribute positively to each lesson. You might be: An ambitious graduate with a passion for education and some experience in schools or educational settings An experienced Cover Supervisor looking to bring your expertise to new schools Someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and engage students-even without formal teaching experience This role is a brilliant entry point into teaching, and for the right candidates, teacher training opportunities may be available following a successful year.
