Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential.What you'll be doing: We are seeking a talented Internal Communications Manager to oversee the communications process from brief to strategy, execution, and reporting. You will manage two Internal Communications Officers and join a team that is transforming the way we communicate with and engage colleagues across the UK to drive business performance. You will be joining a leading and innovative organisation with a mission to achieve 'Ecological Transformation' through decarbonisation, de-pollution, and resource generation. We help our customers and stakeholders to create a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations by promoting a circular economy, enhancing biodiversity and supporting the local communities we operate in. You will develop and implement internal communication strategies to engage employees at all levels of the organisation and contribute to a measurement framework that provides insights and analysis for continuous improvement, with particular ownership of campaign KPIs. You will support the delivery of internal communications strategies and plans, ensuring our messages are integrated, consistent and aligned with Veolia's values, tone of voice, and style. You will effectively utilise our suite of channels and manage end-to-end delivery of projects, as well as evaluate and report on their impact. This role reports to the Head of Internal Communications and includes significant stakeholder engagement. What we're looking for: Proven experience in internal communications, adept at managing diverse channels such as the intranet, podcasts, and email distribution, while ensuring key platforms are consistently updated and relevant. Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the talent to uncover and craft engaging stories and narratives across complex businesses. Data-driven expertise accustomed to generating insights and performance analytics, and using this to inform future projects. Demonstrated ability to maintain a dynamic editorial calendar within a complex, matrix organisation. A strong enthusiasm for new technologies, coupled with a proactive approach to enhancing existing in-house platforms and streamlining processes. Experience in leading and nurturing teams to achieve optimal performance and continuous learning and development. Skilled in building strong working relationships outside the immediate team, managing multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities effectively. Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects of varying scopes simultaneously. A natural leader with keen decision-making abilities and meticulous attention to detail, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines, both independently and collaboratively.
