Job Description

We’re seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Edmonton-based client on a part-time basis for 1 month. This short-term role is ideal for a creative and strategic marketer who can hit the ground running and support a variety of initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and distribute marketing content across channels, including newsletters, communiqués, and promotional materials Manage and monitor social media accounts, responding to comments and messages Promote organizational programs, services, and initiatives through strategic campaigns Coordinate events such as webinars, conferences, and information sessions Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding Design and produce print and digital materials (e.g., annual reports, advertisements, reports) Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing platforms Draft and distribute media releases; handle media inquiries Contribute to and follow an annual marketing and communications plan Support fundraising and donor engagement communications Assist with other marketing-related tasks as needed What You Bring: 3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role Proven ability to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies Strong writing, editing, and design skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) Solid understanding of social media and digital marketing trends Excellent communication and collaboration skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field Valid Class 5 driver’s license (if applicable)
