Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Area of interest: Corporate & Commercial Banking Informed with an awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role. Informed on the Algorithmic Trading Quants (ATQ) and FX E-Trading business strategy. Business Responsible for maximising eTPI along with colleagues in the ATQ team. Responsible for growing the eFX franchise within the regulatory framework. Responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities in FX E-Trading. Stay informed on any changes within the quant team. Processes Responsible for specifying, delivering, and maintaining automated pricing and trading algorithms, models, and controls to meet business and risk management objectives. Optimize client spread-capture and hedging using big data analysis. Generate alpha signals for algorithms and models in FX E-Trading. Perform back testing, analysis, and monitoring to support these activities. Collaborate with IT colleagues to achieve objectives. Monitor model performance and data mining for improvements. Liaise with E- / V-sales for appropriate client pricing. Provide consultation on models and algorithms developed by others. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including AML policies. Implement and review internal controls and procedures regularly. Risk Management Identify, monitor, control, and mitigate risks stemming from FX E-Trading. Embed operational risk monitoring into business processes. Understand the main risks and your role in managing them. Interpret financial information to identify key issues and implement controls. Comply with dealer mandates and operational risk guidelines. Governance Assess and oversee the effectiveness of governance, oversight, and controls. Understand the regulatory framework and requirements. Report and escalate breaches or concerns. Collaborate with regulators transparently. Regulatory & Business Conduct Uphold the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify, escalate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues. Adhere to UK and MAS regulatory standards.
