The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks within the Engineering Department. The position is based in PISTOIA - IT . Accountabilities: Support and coordinate during bid and project development of system design. Prepare system requirement specifications for mechanical systems. Analyze technical proposals from suppliers. Review technical descriptions of systems. Verify drawings and documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation and integration onboard. Check FEM analysis reports. Prepare and verify performance test specifications. Support system type tests. Assist during onboard integration tests. Conduct design reviews with clients and suppliers. Required Skills/Knowledge: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Good understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schemes; bolted and riveted connections. Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Proficiency with office automation software (Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia) and IBM DOORS. Knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced international environment. Ability to work independently within teams and projects. Availability for short-term national and international travel. Desired Skills/Knowledge: Ability to independently manage and plan tasks, with strong teamwork skills. Analytical skills, problem-solving, and business process analysis. Good planning and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and stay updated with technological advances and industry best practices. Strong business acumen and technical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment. Education / Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background (including technical high school graduation).
