We are looking for an ECLSS & TCS Subsystem Engineer Candidate Profile: Graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science from a university Significant experience in hardware development, especially thermal engineering Team-player with a multidisciplinary approach Customer-oriented mindset with clear understanding of organizational goals and strategies Rigorous, analytical, and detail-oriented to ensure quality results Key Competencies: Strong background in mathematics, science, and computer science, with knowledge of thermal laws, norms, and standards Proficiency in Thermal technology and control components such as HP, MLIs, radiators, coatings, thermal interface materials, and passive EEE parts like heaters and thermistors Experience with tools like Ansys Icepak, Ansys Fluent, Mentor Flotherm Understanding of thermal models, junction temperature, thermal resistance, electronics cooling Experience with thermal testing: Temperature, Humidity, Salt fog, Pressure tests Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines across multiple projects Role Responsibilities: Perform hardware engineering activities related to Thermal Engineering Analyze and define thermal needs through studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes Describe thermal functions and requirements Formalize thermal specifications and architectural designs Identify development issues and assist in resolutions Prepare technical reports and participate in thermal testing activities Ensure thermal compliance with standards Design and develop cooling systems and innovate for better designs Career Development at Thales: Opportunities to explore other domains or sites, grow your competencies, and develop your career within a leading engineering group.
