EMM is looking for a: IT Observability Lead Main Activities: Execution Support: Collaborate with the Observability Manager and stakeholders across IT, Digital, and business areas to implement observability solutions aligned with architecture and operational needs. Tool Configuration: Support setup, tuning, and maintenance of observability platforms (e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic Stack) to enable effective usage by IT operations and engineering teams. Monitoring Frameworks: Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks with defined KPIs, baselines, and alert thresholds to enable early anomaly detection and structured incident response. Telemetry Analysis: Analyze observability data to identify trends, performance issues, and user experience metrics. Produce reports to support service improvement and operational planning. Root Cause Analysis: Work with operations and incident teams to examine system behavior, identify root causes, and propose improvements based on telemetry data. Cross-Functional Contribution: Provide observability input to initiatives such as automation, operational readiness assessments, post-incident reviews, and digital transformation projects. Required Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in IT observability or related technical roles. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field. Practical experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Elastic Search. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java) to support tool customization and data handling. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) and exposure to automation frameworks or DevOps pipelines. Relevant certifications in observability platforms or technologies. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus. Right to work in Italy. Soft Skills Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex telemetry data. Clear and structured communication across technical and non-technical teams. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision. Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, distributed environment. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause identification and continuous improvement.
