Job Title: Teacher for the Visually Impaired Location: Ashford, WA Position type: Part-Time pany: Soliant Qualifications: Master's degree in education, with a specialization in visual impairments or blindness. Valid state licensure or certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired in Washington Experience working with visually impaired students preferred Experience with Braille preferred Strong interpersonal and munication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students in grades K-12 (this is an itinerant, district-wide position). Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with visual impairments Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and technologies to enhance student learning. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students' academic and social success. Conduct assessments to evaluate students' skills and progress. Advocate for students' access to appropriate educational resources and acmodations.
