Intermediate Business Analyst (JB5309) Remote (Cape Town or Gauteng) R700 000 to R720 000 Annually CTC Permanent A dynamic technology-driven organization is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions. This remote role involves collaborating across teams to drive product and process improvements, deliver clear requirements, and support agile and waterfall projects. The position offers the chance to work on multiple software development projects, enhancing both internal systems and customer-facing solutions Minimum Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 or A-Levels Relevant tertiary qualification or Informatics degree Postgraduate degree, Honours, Business Analyst diploma, BABOK, Agile Certification (Preferred) Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects Minimum 2 years experience as an Intermediate Business Analyst in agile software development projects Retail industry experience as a Business Analyst Strong verbal and written communication Logical reasoning and problem-solving Customer-focused approach Stakeholder management Presentation and project management skills Analytical, methodical, and abstract thinking Systems thinking and dependency recognition Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Delivery-driven, structured work style Results-driven and proactive mindset Strong time management, planning, and coordination Adaptability, emotional maturity, and resilience Effective interpersonal skills and team collaboration Ethical, honest, and customer-oriented Duties and Responsibilities: Elicit, gather, analyze, document, validate, and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall formats) Define project vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation plans Design or review products, test cases, and business processes Work on multiple projects simultaneously, translating business data into actionable insights Consult with internal and external customers to understand their needs, value chains, and functions Build and maintain strong customer relationships Challenge business assumptions to clarify intent and improve outcomes Estimate total project duration and identify/manage dependencies Perform process reengineering to improve customer processes Facilitate JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions Assist with testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Collaborate closely with product owners, business owners, workstream managers, and stakeholders Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
