KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Apply expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data thoughtfulness to develop and implement advanced algorithms and thoughtful solutions - Manage end-to-end data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of actionable insights - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture - Contributes to the strategic vision of the Data Science team, providing input on initiatives that align with business objectives - Apply strong thoughtfulness and problem-solving skills to address complex data demands and generate valuable insights YOU MUST HAVE : - 6 years of experience in data science, with a focus on guiding complex projects and delivering impactful solutions - Expertise in more than 2 areas of AI/ML like Machine Learning/Deep learning/NLP - Expertise in MLlib, Hyperparameter Tuning , MLflow, CI/CD pipeline, ML Ops framework - Mastery experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data thoughtfulness - Knowledge of AWS Databricks platform (clusters, notebooks, and jobs) and Delta Lake and cost management of Databricks and AWS - Knowledge of AWS Cloud services such as Amazon S3 for data storage, AWS Glue for ETL processes, and Amazon Redshift for data warehousing and understanding AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) - Knowledge of designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Databricks and AWS Glue to prepare datasets for analysis and understanding concepts related to data warehousing and data lakes - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Apache Spark & Spark SQL, , performance tuning techniques for Spark jobs - Knowledge of Apache Spark and Spark SQL - Strong project management and organizational abilities - Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor junior data scientists - Excellent communication and people-oriented skills WE VALUE : - Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline - Experience in guiding and ownership of complex data projects - Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the overall direction of the Data Science team - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability (ref:hirist.tech)
