C++/Android Framework Developer

We are seeking an experienced C++, Android Framework Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with the Android Framework, Android NDK, and C++ for developing and integrating JNI-based solutions in FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging technical problems and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Android applications. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and enhance features within the Android Framework to support application requirements. - Integrate Android-specific features into applications using the Android NDK (Native Development Kit). - Utilize JNI (Java Native Interface) to integrate C++ code within Android applications, ensuring seamless communication between Java and native layers. - Work on FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) applications, specifically integrating and optimizing JNI calls for efficient data transfer. - Write and maintain high-performance C++ code for Android applications, optimizing the app's efficiency and resource management. - Debug and optimize C++ code to ensure robustness and low latency. - Work closely with other developers, QA teams, and system engineers to design, implement, and troubleshoot solutions. - Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and maintain high code quality standards. Qualifications : - 6 years of professional experience in Android Framework development. - Proficient in Android NDK with a focus on integrating JNI into Android apps, particularly for FOTA applications. - Strong expertise in C++ programming for Android development. - Android Framework expertise, with deep knowledge of Android platform components and architecture. - Extensive experience with JNI (Java Native Interface) and integrating native code within Android applications. - Proficiency in C++, including object-oriented programming, memory management, and optimization for mobile environments. - Experience in working with Android Build Systems, Gradle, and other Android-specific tools. - Familiarity with Linux-based systems and kernel-level programming for Android. - Understanding of mobile app performance optimization strategies (ref:hirist.tech)
