Position Overview The Nursing Assistant II (NA II) is an entry-level role designed for current nursing students seeking to enhance their nursing career preparation. Under the supervision of an experienced nurse, you will gain hands-on experience delivering safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families, supporting their health and recovery. This role builds on classroom and clinical rotation experiences. Responsibilities include: Providing direct patient care, including activities of daily living (ADLs), hygiene, vital signs, intake and output, bladder scanning, EKG, glucometer testing, and restraints. Communicating and documenting interventions and observations. Participating in quality improvement processes. Engaging in ongoing learning and self-improvement. Building positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
