Java DevOps Engineer - JBOSS/Docker

Job Description : As a Java/JEE Developer, you will : - Support the architects in translating high-level designs into detailed work breakdowns. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of domain architecture diagrams. - Maintain the domain/solution codebase and architecture. - Design interfaces between Java EE modules and, when necessary, the factory SAP environment. - Define and implement software deployment strategies. - Define software test strategies and develop software tests, including setting up automated testing : Education : MSc or PhD in Computer Science or Information Technology. Experience : - Commercial experience with Java EE (strong preference for Java 8; Java 7 acceptable). - Experience with Java application servers and/or JEE servers, including any of the following : a. JBoss (Wildfly) b. Docker / containers c. Openshift d. IBM WebSphere e. BEA/Oracle WebLogic f. Apache Tomcat or TomEE g. Jetty - JPA experience with Hibernate (for database interaction). - Experience with Apache Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management. - Experience with Git for source code control. - Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Bitbucket/Stash, Confluence, and Jira). - Configuration management experience with Chef, Puppet, or Ansible. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios. Personal Skills : - Flexible and able to work on multiple deliverables and issues in parallel. - Possesses a "can-do" mentality, proactively addressing necessary tasks regardless of specific assignment. - Eager and enthusiastic about contributing to challenging projects. - Willing to commit to a multi-year project timeline. - Able to work in close cooperation with the project leader, providing timely signals of potential bottlenecks and proposing solution options.
