Job Description

Duties: Assist with emails, bookings, social media, organising the day life at camp, rosters, grocery list and reporting to the director. Assist organising transfers from / to the program Organising excursions and be in touch with the agencies Assist with marketing Support the lead project manager in overseeing various conservation projects, including tasks like project planning, implementation, and monitoring. This role would likely involve working with municipal staff, community stakeholders, and possibly other organizations to achieve specific conservation goals. Assisting with project planning and implementation: involve developing project timelines, budgets, and work plans. Coordination and communication: working with project teams, stakeholders, and potentially other organizations to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. Data collection and analysis: gathering and analysing data to track project progress, assess effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement. Reporting and documentation: preparing reports on project progress, findings, and outcomes. Supporting the project manager: assisting with various administrative tasks, such as setting up meetings, managing documents, and coordinating logistics. Requirements: Grade 12 Formal qualification will be an advantage Strong understanding of conservation principles. Familiarity with ecological concepts, biodiversity, and conservation strategies. Project management skills. Ability to plan, organize, and manage project activities effectively. Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including staff, community members, and stakeholders. Data analysis and reporting skills. Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data to track project progress and identify areas for improvement. Organizational and administrative skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and keep track of deadlines.
