The role Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to be a vital member of the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in your area, enhance our customer proposition, and identify growth opportunities. This role suits someone who enjoys relationship building and data-driven insights for growth. What you'll do: Serve as the local expert for your city(s), understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally. Use data insights to improve customer offerings neighborhood by neighborhood. Manage top restaurant partners, lead negotiations, and optimize their performance on Deliveroo for growth. Coordinate with local account managers to promote local hero brands. Develop and execute city signing-up strategies for success. Own the city’s P&L, understanding key KPIs and influencing them. Map out local sales strategies, identifying gaps and focus areas. Enhance our local customer offering through knowledge of the area, optimizing restaurant operations, and strategic planning with regional teams. Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation. Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles. Results-oriented and target-driven. Understanding and managing P&L. Business acumen with a data-driven approach. Combination of field work (2-3 days/week) and office/home work. Strong relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email. Why Deliveroo?
