Lead Software Engineer - Backend Development

We Are Looking For : - 8 years of experience in the product development field. - 2 years of recent experience in building products on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/Private cloud). - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance. - Strong knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with .Net, Entity Framework, C#, and SQL Server or any other relational database management system (RDBMS). - Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture, including design, development, and deployment. - Hands-on experience in building products for Unix-based systems in addition to Windows environments. - Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and practical experience with at least one of the following cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Private cloud. - Demonstrated knowledge of asynchronous programming and WebAPI development. - Comprehensive knowledge and awareness of cloud and application security principles and best practices, with a strong understanding of OWASP guidelines at a minimum. - Extensive experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers to achieve their full potential and contribute effectively to the team's success. - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges. - Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively across team boundaries, fostering a positive and productive environment. - Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Good to have experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular, Vue, or React. Responsibilities : - Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable backend systems and APIs. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the backend development team, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices. - Drive the adoption of cloud-native best practices and leverage cloud services effectively. - Contribute to the architectural design and evolution of our cloud-based products. - Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and scalability of backend applications. - Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver product features. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents. - Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and development. - Drive continuous improvement within the team, promoting innovation and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. - Participate in the planning and estimation of development tasks. - Effectively communicate technical concepts and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
