Health & Safety Intern About the Role: We are seeking a Health & Safety Intern to assist with workplace safety practices and support the HSE Manager. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Health and Safety management. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments• Document findings and support corrective actions• Help review and update safety policies and procedures• Draft safety communications and training materials• Assist in investigating incidents and recommend prevention measures• Support safety training sessions and workshops• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities• Analyse safety data to identify improvement opportunities• Stay informed about health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with UK standards (e.g., ISO 45001) Requirements: • Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or have relevant work experience• Basic understanding of workplace safety principles and regulations• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Attention to detail and proactive attitude• Experience with safety management software is a plus Salary & Benefits: • £25,000 to £27,000 (Depending on Degree)• Full Time Internship - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm – 37.5hrs p/w• Hybrid working • 24 days annual leave ( carry over up to 5 days)• Life Assurance• Company pension contribution (up to 5%)• Private Medical Insurance If you feel you have the relevant experience for this position then please apply to or at One to One Personnel today!
