Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care - $2,088 to $2,160 per week in Clearlake, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN - ICU) Location: [City, CA] Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 36 hours/week Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Description: The ICU Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered critical care to a diverse population, including child through geriatric patients, in alignment with the mission and values of Adventist Health. This role is vital in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment. The RN plans, coordinates, and implements age-appropriate nursing interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy for patients across the lifespan. Monitors hemodynamic status and accurately interprets clinical data for patient care planning. Administers medications and titrates critical drips according to provider orders and clinical protocols. Demonstrates age-specific knowledge and skills in providing ICU-level care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Coordinates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintains clinical documentation and care plans in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participates in ICU competency programs, unit-based initiatives, and performance improvement projects. May float between ICU and ER based on unit needs. Upholds professional standards, confidentiality, and Adventist Health’s Code of Conduct. Required Qualifications: Current RN license in the State of California Minimum 2 years of ICU experience OR completion of an approved ICU training course with clinical experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program Basic computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records Willingness to float between ICU and ER if needed
