Entry Level Recruitment Consultant Entry Level £30,000 Commission London - Office based What does an Associate Consultant do? You'll play a key role in identifying candidates for important vacancies across high value clients, conducting market research, and managing high-level client and candidate interactions. You'll develop search strategies, gain deep industry insights, and build a powerful network—paving the way for a dynamic career in executive recruitment, consulting, or beyond. To be considered for this role you will be: Academically bright with an entrepreneurial streak looking to graft, learn and establish a name for themselves in the financial services, executive search arena. Confidently able to lead conversations with individuals of any level, from graduates to C-Suite. Inquisitive and thoughtful, with excellent interpersonal skills. Able to follow instructions and incorporate initiative and creative thinking Intelligent and analytical, always with an actionable outcome in mind Ability to research for complex projects and present findings in a logical way Confident to make cold calls for headhunting purposes Confident to attend and shadow client meetings Articulate and excellent, professional written communication skills Can execute initiative looking for multiple ways to solve problems of own volition Can work well independently without the need for micromanagement An exceptional recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years of experience in a relevant field. E.g previous recruitment experience (search or contingent) or experience in the finance sector. The role As an Associate, you are at the forefront of activity and learning skills that will form the basis of a long-term career in executive search. The basics will never leave you and set you up for success. The job is multi-faceted requiring both research and sales skills. Covering tasks such as: Quickly understanding complex role briefs from senior candidates to build a search Market mapping candidates for prestigious clients on high priority mandates Creating market maps and analysis Spotting opportunities to find excellent candidates through initiative and lead generation Presenting research in an actionable way Professional networking Cold calling through lists of individuals identified to headhunt (candidate outreach) Running candidate screening calls and in person candidate meetings Setting up meetings for senior colleagues and helping with prep and follow up Shadowing on meetings and pitches Supporting with pitch decks and proposals Building a professional brand for yourself within the sector which is key to your career development with the business More details on role progression and timeframes are shared with successful applicants Salary and Earning Potential This business has extraordinary employee perks and benefits available at all levels, once you’ve past probation.
