Sector Specialist: Social Infrastructure

Purpose of the role: To support both the Listed and Unlisted teams with the generation of well researched investment ideas, industry leading sector knowledge, strategic initiatives and contribute to growth in assets under management. Requirements : Minimum Requirements At least 7 years’ relevant sector experience in social infrastructure research or equity analyst covering healthcare/education/properties Post graduate qualification in Commerce, Finance or equivalent relevant Master’s degree/MBA/CFA would be preferred. Experience in undertaking research with implications for the economy and investments is Experience of implementing research views in portfolios would be highly Must possess the desire and ability to work in a collaborative and intensive team-orientated environment FAIS RE5 Certificate or it must be obtained within 6 months of employment Preferred Qualifications Post Graduate Degree in Commerce, Finance Professional Body/Association CFA/CA or other Duties: Produce Industry leading proprietary research that generates Investment views and ideas in social infrastructure sectors (education, healthcare, affordable housing, student accommdation and water & sanitation). Identify investment opportunities in social Undertake thematic research and thought leadership pieces in social Develop and update sector investment strategies for social Undertake market research analysis for unlisted Support the unlisted deal teams during due diligence process and in evaluating potential Work with senior analysts and research
