We focus on developing cutting-edge Deep Learning models to deliver user experiences. Our team comprises passionate Data Scientists with various expertise. If searching for Search and Ranking challenges excites you, we'd love to have you join us! Get to know the job As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll create scalable machine learning algorithms. Your work will span important areas like Search, Ranking, Natural Language Processing, and Large Language Models (LLMs), all contributing to Grab's growth. You will be based onsite at Grab Singapore One North office and report to the Senior Data Science Manager. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform: Process large-scale datasets for model development and training. Design and implement efficient, scalable machine learning and deep learning algorithms. Evaluate algorithm performance within search systems and improve relevance and efficiency. Deploy models to production environments, focusing on robustness and maintainability. Run A/B tests to assess model performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. Keep up with recent advances in Search, Ranking, NLP, and LLMs. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, analysts, and UX designers. What Essential Skills You Will Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. At least 2 years of experience applying deep learning in domains like Search, Ranking, NLP, or LLMs. Ability to develop and deploy large-scale machine learning solutions. Skill in translating requirements into technical solutions. Expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Proficiency in Python for software development.
