Role Summary This a key role for the UK EPC engineering design hub, supporting colleagues in the UK and international. You’ll take a Project Engineering role on the effective design of large-scale ground mount solar projects, of BESS and other technologies, and work closely with the team in engineering. Main Responsibilities Develop BESS designs for Tenders and Construction (UK and international) Develop Solar PV designs for Tenders and Construction (UK and international) Systems design input into strategic bids / proposals / developments and planning applications Co-ordinate with internal resources Participating in monthly project meetings Support the projects preparing Bill of Quantities Support the projects on engineering, attending site visits when required Work very closely to the Design Manager/Lead Project Engineer and Tendering Team Work with the UK other design teams to support the wider business as required. Person Specification Essential Graduate from a Master Program in engineering, ideally in Renewables Team Player and passionate about the Energy Sector BESS & solar PV design experience (large scale multi MWs) Professional Engineering academic background – Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy / Power Systems Engineering (or similar) Knowledge of relevant software tools, PV Case, AutoCAD, PV Syst, PV Sol etc Keen to learn all the relevant design and building standards and protocols Comfortable in fast paced, high growth environment Excellent communication skills Able to attend company’s UK office regularly and travel to UK as required, and be effective working remotely Benefits Company events Pension 25 days holiday bank holidays (increases with long service) 25% Bonus potential Cycle to work scheme Employee assistance programme Life Assurance Enhanced maternity and paternity leave Private medical insurance
