Capstone Health is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Zanesville, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist Facility: Genesis Healthcare System Location: Zanesville, OH (with outpatient responsibilities in Coshocton, OH) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 40 hours per week, Day Shift Varied start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 9:00 AM 3 days per week at the Genesis Hospital inpatient setting (260 beds) in Zanesville 2 days per week at an outpatient (ortho/neuro) setting in Coshocton Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required during the 13-week contract No on-call responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patients' functional abilities, including activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive skills. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and efficiently in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive equipment. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Adhere to all professional standards of practice and ethical guidelines. Qualifications: Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in the state of Ohio. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of one year of recent experience in both inpatient hospital and outpatient (orthopedic and neurological) settings is required. New graduates and OTs with minimal experience will not be considered. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt to different work environments and patient populations.
