Senior Design Engineer - Valves

Our client is a multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. The products of the company include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. Your new role We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer responsible for the complete design, machining drawings, and calculations of ball valves. The role also involves supporting other engineering facilities within the organization for similar product families, including: Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings; Collaboration with supervisors and engineering managers; Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications; Execution of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and systems; Analyzing and reviewing customer specifications; Cooperation with production and other departments; Collaboration with other sites; Demonstrating an enterprise mindset and willingness to exceed customer expectations. What you'll need to succeed Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or a technical diploma in a mechanical field; Minimum 5 years of experience in ball valve design; Good knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Ansys; Experience in the same industry; Strong organizational skills; Ability to relate well to others and externally; Proficiency in English and/or Italian.
