Required Experience : - 10 years of extensive hands-on experience in MySQL database development and administration across large-scale, high-availability environments. - Deep expertise in MySQL database architecture, design, and development, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, stored procedures, and complex function creation. - Proven experience in MySQL database development, including the ability to write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions that improve application performance and meet business requirements. - Experience leading and mentoring a team of DBAs and developers, providing guidance on MySQL best practices, database design, and performance optimization. - Proven leadership in MySQL database management, with experience driving strategic database decisions, aligning database architecture with organizational goals, and working with senior stakeholders. - Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for MySQL databases, including advanced replication, failover, and backup techniques in both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS preferred). - Advanced query performance tuning skills, including the ability to optimize complex SQL queries, create efficient indexing strategies, and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), with practical experience managing MySQL databases in cloud-native environments, including scaling, backup strategies, and fault tolerance. - Extensive experience with database lifecycle management, from provisioning and configuration to decommissioning, ensuring databases are continuously optimized and aligned with business needs. - Expertise in MySQL security best practices, including encryption, user management, and compliance with regulatory and industry security standards. - Strong experience with database automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for MySQL, including automating deployment and management of MySQL databases. - Advanced troubleshooting and performance analysis skills, with a focus on MySQL query optimization, resource management, and identifying performance issues in large-scale environments. - Strong understanding of change control and version control practices, with a focus on managing and documenting MySQL database changes on a scale. Educational Qualifications : - Engineering graduate or B.
