Odiware - MERN Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

Location : Bhubaneswar Experience : 5-8 Years Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of web applications, from design and architecture to implementation and deployment. This role requires a strong understanding of the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and experience with building scalable and robust web solutions. You will be working in a collaborative environment, contributing to the development of innovative and high-quality : - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs. - Build reusable and efficient front-end components using React.js. - Implement server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and Express.js. - Design and implement efficient and scalable database schemas using MongoDB. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional web applications. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues. - Optimize applications for performance and scalability. - Work with build and release processes using tools like Maven, Ant, and Gradle. - Utilize DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment. - Deploy and manage applications on any cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Utilize tools and utilities like PL/SQL Developer, Kubernetes, Docker, and Postman for development and testing. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development. - Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills : Primary Skills : - Proven experience (5-8 years) as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on the MERN stack. - Expertise in MongoDB, including schema design, querying, and performance optimization. - Strong proficiency in Express.js for building robust server-side applications and RESTful APIs. - Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles, including component lifecycle, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and hooks. - Solid experience with Node.js and its ecosystem. - Proficient in JavaScript (ES6). - Strong understanding of CSS for styling web applications. Build and Release : - Hands-on experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, and Gradle. Tools & Utilities : - Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. - Experience using PL/SQL Developer or similar database management tools. - Working knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Proficiency in using API testing tools such as Postman. Version Control : - Experience with version control systems like Git. Problem-Solving : - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
