Windows Administrator - VMware/Active Directory

We are currently hiring for a Windows Admin role on behalf of one of our clients. About the Role : Our client is seeking a Windows Admin with a strong foundation in Windows Server administration and experience with VMware. This role is based in Dahej, Gujarat, India, and requires a professional capable of managing and maintaining Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, and providing support for virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead a team and contribute to IT infrastructure projects. Location : Dahej, Gujarat, India Education : Engineering Graduate Experience : 3 years of relevant experience Primary Skill : Windows Admin Secondary Skill : VMWare Key Responsibilities and Required Skills : - Possess in-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture and concepts. - Perform installation and configuration of Domain Controllers in an enterprise environment. - Monitor and maintain core Windows Server operating system components, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Backup tools, WSUS, and IIS. - Have knowledge of RAID concepts and logical volume management specifically within a VMware environment. - Apply knowledge of industry standards and best practices in server administration. - Manage access control and security rights in a Windows Server 2012 environment (conceptual/practical knowledge of Windows Server 2008 & 2012 administration is required). - Administer VMware VSphere environments. - Possess conceptual and practical knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and 2012 administration. - Have knowledge and troubleshooting skills related to Citrix Desktop virtualization. - Possess experience in P2V (Physical to Virtual conversions), VMotion, and managing VMware virtual center. - Manage VMware, Citrix Servers, and IBM Lotus Notes environments. - Execute Backup and Restore activities using backup tools such as HP Data Protector or other third-party tools. - Manage Symantec Antivirus and DLP servers, or at least possess conceptual knowledge of these systems. - Responsible for providing IT assistance and troubleshooting support to other IT support teams. - Should be capable of leading a team of at least 4 engineers. - Be actively involved in new technical projects as and when required for the IT Infrastructure landscape.
