Application Developer II - Java/Spring Boot

We are looking for an Application Developer II to join our team, focusing on the development of robust, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable applications, adhering to best coding practices, and integrating business requirements into efficient and maintainable software. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot. - Implement best practices for coding, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software. - Create RESTful services and integrate them into existing applications. - Work on integrating Spring Boot applications with other systems and services. - Develop reusable components and services for improved efficiency and scalability. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues related to both code and architecture. - Enhance codebase to improve the scalability, maintainability, and performance of the system. - Use Git for version control and collaborate with other developers for efficient code management. - Participate in peer code reviews to ensure the highest quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve development processes. - Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. - Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the applications you develop. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Java and Spring Boot : - 4-7 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. - Solid understanding of core Java concepts and object-oriented programming. - Experience in building and deploying Spring Boot applications. - Java (Java 8 or higher). - Spring Boot for microservices and RESTful APIs. - Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud is a plus. - Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing and Mockito for mocking. - Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle. - Familiarity with version control using Git.
