IT Application Owner - Commercial Software Product

Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g., training, experience, education etc.) : - Diploma / Graduate / Technical Course IT Hardware & Networking / Certification - Good Communication skills; Self-Learning ability - Technical Knowledge about IT Hardware & Troubleshooting knowledge of IT Systems Good Communication skills, Self-Learning ability - Capacity to handle large no. of Users single handed. - Experience in yrs. 8-10 Years in the operation of IT systems and software tools - Knowledge of script or object-oriented programming languages - High sense of responsibility - Coordination and communication of internal and external service providers and stakeholders - Problem and solution-oriented thinking - Business fluent in English, Business German Preferred - Overall responsibility for the development of engineering IT tools - Support of product development worldwide, as well as the worldwide operation of these tools INTERNAL : - Global application operation and its interaction with other Schaeffler internal IT support units and external solution providers - Ensuring compliance with and further development of established IT processes for the efficient development of new IT tools, as well as the continuous improvement of internal service, product and service quality and thus internal customer satisfaction Tasks (Description of main tasks) : - IT-Application Owner (commercial software product) - License monitoring : if required, commissioning license procurement and importing licenses - License compliance - Operation : Ensuring worldwide (app) availability, de-installation and disposal - Designing and adhering to an operating concept - Release management : planning, testing and putting releases live - Maintenance : planning maintenance windows and coordinating with interface applications where necessary - Further development of the application (internal or external commissioning) in close coordination with the product owner - Implementation of decided demands (what is the difference to the point above) - Incident management - Determination of service levels - IT product billing : input for pricing (e.g. monthly user evaluation) - Ensuring IT security controls - Contribution to the training concept - Maintaining overall solution architecture (ref:hirist.tech)
