Senior Test Automation Engineer - Selenium/Java

Job Title : Senior Automation Test Engineer Selenium & Java (7 Years : Type : Level : Senior (7 years). Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Java to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality delivery of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and create reliable test suites. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications. - Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies. - Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and track defects using tools like JIRA. - Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical leadership within the QA team. - Ensure test coverage, quality, and performance benchmarks are met. - Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes. Required Skills And Experience : - 7 years of hands-on experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Selenium and Java. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle. - Experience in REST API testing (using tools like RestAssured or Postman). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. - Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber is a plus. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication Qualifications : - Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus. - Experience in testing microservices and cloud-based applications. - ISTQB or similar testing certification.
