Java Developer - Spring MVC

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and services using Core Java, Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, etc.), and related technologies. - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems. - Work with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. - Utilize build tools like Maven or Gradle for project management and dependency management. - Implement unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs effectively. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. - Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming principles. - Extensive experience with the Spring framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, etc. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with relational databases (e.g , MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills : - Experience with microservices architecture. - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito. - Experience with message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g , MongoDB, Cassandra) (ref:hirist.tech)
