Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Summary: We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The role involves writing and executing test cases, validating APIs, testing SQL databases, and developing automation scripts using Selenium with Core Java. The candidate will be working closely with the Scrum team in an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality releases and adherence to best Responsibilities: - Write and execute formal test cases, documenting results accurately. - Develop and maintain both feature and regression test cases. - Create positive and negative test cases to ensure comprehensive testing. - Collaborate with the Scrum team and follow Agile practices. - Validate acceptance criteria for completeness and accuracy. - Test APIs and validate data against SQL databases. - Create and maintain test matrices to track coverage and quality. - Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium with Core Java. - Maintain automation frameworks and perform regular updates to the repository. - Implement and work on automation frameworks like POM (Page Object Skills: - Strong proficiency in Core Java. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia. - Proficiency in SQL and experience using SQL clients like SSMS. - Expertise with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Java TestNG, and build automation with Maven or Gradle. - Understanding and application of Git and Git commands. - Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans & Technologies: - Postman or Insomnia (API testing). - SSMS (SQL client). - Selenium WebDriver with TestNG. - Git for version control. - Maven or Gradle for build Requirements: - Must be willing to work during late-night shifts in India. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong understanding of the application and business Qualifications: - Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test management. - Attention to Detail: Ability to identify subtle issues or inconsistencies in software behavior. - Strong Communication Skills: Clearly articulating test results, collaborating with cross functional teams, and explaining complex issues to non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Approach to identifying root causes of issues and finding effective solutions. - Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while balancing manual and automation testing. - Collaboration: Working effectively within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, and engaging with developers and product managers. - Adaptability: Adjusting quickly to new tools, frameworks, or shifting priorities within the development cycle.
