Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality 2D multiplayer games using the Cocos Creator engine. - Architect and implement robust and scalable real-time multiplayer features, ensuring smooth and synchronized gameplay experiences for multiple concurrent players. - Develop and integrate features specific to Real Money Games, adhering to relevant regulations and security standards (if the project involves RMG). - Optimize game performance for various target platforms (e.g., mobile, web), ensuring smooth frame rates and efficient resource utilization. - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards. - Work closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to translate design specifications into functional game mechanics and features. - Thoroughly test and debug game features to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a high level of stability and quality. - Integrate relevant third-party libraries, SDKs, and APIs to enhance game functionality (e.g., analytics, payment gateways, social media integration). - Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively for code management and collaboration. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Cocos Creator, game development techniques, and industry trends. - Proactively identify and solve technical challenges and implement creative solutions. Ideal Candidate Should Have : - Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of real-time multiplayer game features, including networking concepts, synchronization techniques, and handling concurrent players. - Solid understanding of 2D game development principles, including game loops, animation systems, physics, UI/UX design for games, and asset management. - Practical experience working within real-time gaming environments and a strong understanding of the challenges and solutions associated with them. - Familiarity with the specific considerations and requirements of Real Money Games development, including security, regulatory compliance, and responsible gaming features (if applicable). Minimum 3 Years of Relevant Experience : - At least three years of professional experience in game development, with a significant portion focused on Cocos Creator. - Deep understanding of the Cocos Creator engine, its features, scripting (primarily JavaScript or TypeScript), and its workflow. - Excellent programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript, with a focus on writing efficient and maintainable code. - Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP), client-server architecture, and techniques for handling real-time data transmission. - Proficient in using Git or other version control systems. - Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. - Ability to communicate effectively with team members and collaborate constructively. - A genuine passion for creating engaging and high-quality gaming experiences. - Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks to completion.
