Mayo Clinic is seeking a per diem / prn Radiology Technologist for a per diem / prn job in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Per Diem Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. May be asked to perform collection and analysis on biological specimens, e.g. blood and urine to aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Additional Qualifications Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. License or Certification ARRT certified in Radiography Additional certifications may be required and determined by Radiology leadership.
