We are currently seeking a CTP Operator to join our Prepress team on 2nd Shift Shift: 2pm to 10pm Pay Range: $19-24 per hour based on experience. ($0.75 Shift Differential) Main Responsibilities: Set up and efficiently operate CtP equipment and related software. Adhere to management system procedures, work instructions, and document control processes. Assist in identifying and resolving issues through the Corrective Action System (CAR System) to improve processes and product quality. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Handle press “down” plate remakes to support production needs. Work on live production jobs, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean and organized Prepress department following 5S principles. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Take direction from Prepress leadership and collaborate effectively with the team. Actively progress through the Prepress Progression Path for continued skill development and career growth. Handle and transport large printing plates with care, accommodating their size while ensuring delicate handling to prevent damage. Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in a prepress or printing environment preferred but not required. Experience with Computer-to-Plate (CTP) systems and plate imaging equipment preferred but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials (plates, boxes, etc.). Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple jobs simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to work with press operators, and production teams. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
