Job Description Job Description Position Summary As the Marketing Assistant for Shear Ego Salon & Spa, you will drive the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness and client engagement. This role combines creative content development, strategic planning, and hands-on execution across multiple channels, ensuring a consistent brand presence and targeted communication to various audiences. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Developing engaging content for social media, email marketing, and other channels, including writing, photography, and video editing. Social Media Management: Managing salon and spa’s social media accounts, posting content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing performance. Marketing Campaigns: Assisting with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including promotions, events, and loyalty programs. Email Marketing: Creating and sending email newsletters and promotions to clients. Website Management: Updating the salon and spa's website with new content and information. Customer Relationship Management: Assisting with client communication, gathering feedback, and building relationships. Data Analysis: Tracking marketing performance and identifying trends to improve future campaigns. Event Planning: Assisting with the planning and execution of salon and spa events and promotions. Supporting Salon and Spa: Assisting with other tasks as needed Skills and Qualifications: Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating engaging content and interacting with clients. Creative Skills: An eye for design and an ability to create visually appealing content are important. Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices is crucial. Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of marketing principles and strategies is helpful. Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively is important. Customer Service Skills: A friendly and helpful attitude is essential for interacting with clients. Proficiency in Software: Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus. Experience in the Beauty Industry: Experience in the hair or beauty industry is a plus, but not required. Job Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in a related field (education, beauty, or wellness). · Familiarity with marketing platforms and content creation tools (e.g. Google Analytics, social media management tools, Canva, etc. ) · Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated management team. Will consider contract/freelancers but must work onsite.
