Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in CT. The Optometrist will provide exceptional eye care to patients, conduct comprehensive eye exams to determine vision problems, and prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses. The Optometrist will also diagnose and manage eye diseases and disorders, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. While we seek a talented and medically oriented optometrist, our ideal candidate is also a team player. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree Active state Optometry license Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills Strong communication skills and ability to explain medical terms and procedures clearly to patients Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in pediatric eye care and contact lens fittings is a plus Familiarity with electronic medical records and diagnostic equipment Commitment to ongoing education and professional development Job Type: Full-time or part-time Salary: Starting at $165,000 per year 20k sign on bonus Benefits: 401(k) with match Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Paid conference and volunteer travel Compensation package: 4 day work week, no extended hours, full time salary!
